You Can Now File Claims with PG&E for Camp Fire Damages

Cash Locked

According to a report by KTVU Fox News, people affected by California wildfires throughout 2017 and 2018 may now file claims for housing assistance and other needs with PG&E. You can file your claim online at the PG&E website any time.

The funds for these claims came from a federal judge’s approval of $105 million to be taken from PG&E’s bankruptcy case. The money is intended to help with relief from the Camp, Atlas, Nuns, and Tubbs fires of 2017 and 2018.

The deadline to apply for these funds is November 15, 2019. So, if you’ve been a victim of the Camp Fire or another 2017 or 2018 California wildfire, then don’t hesitate to file your claim with PG&E. Remember, the faster you submit, the quicker you’ll receive the aid you need.
