Paradise Mayor Visits Washington D.C. to Talk Camp Fire Politics

According to KRCR News: Jody Jones, the mayor of Paradise, CA, went to Washington D.C. yesterday to meet with federal lawmakers to discuss the Camp Fire of last year.

Butte County Supervisors Steve Lambert and Bill Connelly went with her.

While they are there they will be meeting with the following individuals: The White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs, Senators Diane Feinstein and Kamala Harris, The Senate Committee on Appropriations, The US Forest Service, The Senate Committee on Banking, The Senate Committee on the Environment and Public Works, Congressmen LaMalfa, McClintock, Halbert, and Garamendi, and The House Committee on Financial Services.
